Saturday was a nice evening, with the Real Deal Comedy Jam team, who started off their UK tour in Euston, London, at the famous Shaw Theatre.
The night had to battle the traffic and influence of the Champion's League Final, but still pulled in a big crowd ready for a belly full of laughter. Opening the show and warming up the crowd was RDCJ favourite KAT, whose crazy and energetic character had the crowd ready for laughter. A great host for a great evening.
Following KAT was RDCJ newcomer, and iSmileWear's very own AURIE STYLA, who delivered a funny set, particularly about his opinions on rude kids, and being single.
Then came FUNMBI, who came on with his close to home humour, about growing up in an African household, giving the crowd so much to relate to. A dynamic set for one of the UK's best.
To close the first half, came the first of the American comics, JOHN MOSES, whose humble humour was instantly favoured by the UK crowd. Truly a enjoyable comedian and a great way to end the first half of a dynamic show.
After the break, KAT brought in DAWN B, the fiery female of the night... and she was exactly that. Absolutely brought down the house, representing the ladies.
Finally, the headline act, the brilliant JOE TORRY, talked about his life and his family from a funny perspective, with a lot of points the crowd could relate to. His very relaxed but suave style of comedy had the ladies engaged and the gents in stitches. A brilliant show closer and a way to start off the weekend.
